It hosts 21 specialized collections of data in education, aging, criminal justice, substance abuse, terrorism, and other fields.

For first-time users: In order to download data, you need to set up an account on the ICPSR website. It is necessary to be at a U of T IP address when the initial account setup is completed. You can either authenticate through U of T's my.access before browsing to the ICPSR website, or use UTORvpn. Once you have your account setup, this authentication step should no longer be necessary, you will just log in using your ICPSR account.</text>
