Characteristics of persons with disabilities (limited at work/perception). It includes data for Canada, the provinces and territories and covers such variables as industry and occupation, level of schooling, major field of study and labour force participation. Demographic characteristics include: age, sex, marital status, mother tongue, home language, mobility status, children ever born, disability variables include severity and nature of disability,&nbsp effect of disability on education, presence of condition prior to completion of formal education or training, accommodation required for work, persons dismissed or refused employment, promotion or training because of condition, other socio-economic characteristics include: school attendance,&nbsp highest level of schooling, major field of study, labour force activity, participation in work-related training courses, mode of travel to work, characteristics of the unemployed, and those not in the labour force, barriers encountered which discouraged person from looking for work.
