Title
Halton Lidar Data 2018
Description
LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) data is a remote sensing technology that uses laser pulses to create highly detailed three-dimensional representations of the Earth’s surface. LiDAR datasets provide precise elevation and surface information and are commonly used for terrain analysis, mapping, environmental studies, urban planning, and archaeological research.
This dataset covers the Halton Region. Halton Region is a regional municipality in southern Ontario, located within the western part of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), between Toronto and Hamilton along the north shore of Lake Ontario.
